In the intensive and semi-intensive modalities, we operate in all phases of production (breeding, rearing, and fattening), dedicating 87 thousand hectares to the production of beef cattle, with an average annual slaughter of more than 104 thousand heads.

The synergy between livestock farming and agricultural cultivation goes beyond the reuse of land during the off-season. In the feed provided to the herd, we use inputs such as corn, corn silage, seed meal, cotton briquettes, corn residues and soy residues from agricultural activity, which guarantees immediate availability and higher quality of the feed offered to the herd, also contributing to accelerating the production cycle, giving the herd greater precocity.

The final quality is guaranteed by management focused on animal welfare, for which we adopt standards and good management practices based on the recommendations of the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) and the Institute of Agricultural Defense (INDEA). The quality of the inputs used in health management and nutritional balance, suitable and adapted to each production phase and in accordance with the seasonality of pasture supply, also guarantee the final quality of the herd.

Our herd is made up of animals of high genetic quality and their origin is guaranteed through the SISBOV identification and traceability system, thus we meet the demand of the main national slaughterhouses, including animals with export quality standards.

We have developed a genetic improvement program in the production of Purebred matrices and sires, aiming at constant improvement in the quality and precocity of our herd and the availability of selected animals for the market.

Highlights – with an area of 25 thousand hectares, we are one of the largest ILP (Crop-Livestock Integration) projects in the world. The wood used in the activity comes from our own reforestation project, used to build fences, corrals, corridors and troughs for feeding the livestock, and is predominantly eucalyptus-based, processed internally.
