We believe that taking care of people also means investing in knowledge and ongoing learning. That’s why we supported another edition of the refresher training for ag pilots, organized by IBRAVAG in partnership with SINDAG and Bom Futuro.
“IBRAVAG works on three pillars — education, communication, and research/innovation — and this training is essential to reinforce best practices, safety, and also the emotional side. It helps pilots see themselves as human beings and maintain a safety standard in their daily routine.” — Liamara Stuermer, Project Coordinator at IBRAVAG
The program covered key topics such as best practices in the sector, safety, physical and mental health, emotional intelligence, communication, behavior, and conflict management. In addition, the agenda included updates on regulations, market trends, and innovations in ag aviation.
“This training revisits technical subjects that often get overlooked in daily routines and also brings updates and new demands of the industry. More than just productivity and profit, it’s a moment to recall the importance of behavior and the care that must be maintained and readjusted.” — Marcelo Drescher, Agronomist and Ag Aviation Consultant
This refresher course not only reinforced technical concepts already known but also emphasized the human side of those directly involved in operations, strengthening safety and performance in every season.
“This type of training is fundamental because it keeps us updated and helps us review concepts and correct mistakes. It went beyond the technical aspects of the profession, addressing health, emotional intelligence, and HR-related topics — showing Bom Futuro’s commitment to working on these issues with us.” — Ricardo Bruno Seno, Ag Pilot at Tupi Barão Unit
“This refresher training is very important and has been happening for years. This time, we also brought the field application technical team so they could learn about new developments, regulatory updates, and exchange experiences with the pilots — aiming for the best performance from everyone during the season.” — Olimar Gottems, Corporate Operations Manager
This initiative highlights the importance of ag aviation for agribusiness and the need to integrate technical, human, and regulatory aspects to ensure increasingly safe and efficient operations.
