Students learned about production routines and environmental management processes at Fazenda Filadélfia, in Campo Verde (MT)

On the 19th of last month, Fazenda Filadélfia, located in Campo Verde (MT), welcomed students from the Technical Program in Environmental Studies and the Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Biology) at the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso (IFMT) for a technical visit focused on practical experience in agribusiness with environmental responsibility.

The reception and coordination of the activities were led by environmental engineers Francisco Lima and Angélica Wille, along with environmental technician Lucas Bello, who presented the operations, answered questions, and connected the theory taught at the Federal Institute to real-world practice in an objective and applied manner.

The schedule was designed to bring students closer to the daily routines of agricultural operations and the environmental management processes carried out by Bom Futuro. During the visit, the students observed production stages, monitoring routines, and control procedures, gaining firsthand insight into how technology, planning, and management integrate to increase efficiency and strengthen sustainability in the field.

The initiative reinforces the relationship between the productive sector and the training of new professionals, encourages emerging talent, and reaffirms the strategic importance of sustainability in rural operations and in the practices adopted by agribusiness companies.
