The admission of 56 students enrolled in Technical Programs in Agriculture at the Instituto Federal de Mato Grosso (IFMT) marks the start of three new cohorts of the Aprendiz do Futuro Program, an initiative by Bom Futuro. The group includes 25 students from the São Vicente Campus, 21 from the Campo Novo do Parecis Campus, and 10 from the Guarantã do Norte Campus, all in their third year of technical secondary education.

Students join the program under a formal Young Apprentice contract, in compliance with current legislation, and follow a training pathway that combines theoretical instruction, paid on-the-job experience, and preparation for the labor market.

The theoretical phase runs from February 10 to December 31, 2026, with activities conducted at the IFMT campuses. The practical phase is scheduled for January 4 to March 5, 2027, when participants will be assigned to Bom Futuro production units located in the municipalities of Campo Verde (MT), Campos de Júlio (MT), Matupá (MT), and Sapezal (MT).

During this period, apprentices will be accommodated at Bom Futuro facilities and will work within the Agricultural Planning department, directly following field routines and applying, in practice, the knowledge acquired throughout their technical training.

As a result of the partnership between Bom Futuro and the IFMT São Vicente and Guarantã do Norte campuses, 105 students have been trained since 2023. This marks the first time the Campo Novo do Parecis Campus takes part in the program. Roselina Camarão, head of Bom Futuro’s social responsibility department, emphasized the importance of the institutional partnership.

“For us at Bom Futuro, it is a great pleasure to be part of this journey, contributing to the development of young people in the labor market. Helping build this process is more than a partnership—it is a commitment to the future,” she said.

The general director of the Campo Novo do Parecis Campus, Tiago Alquaz Matias, highlighted the program’s social impact on the region. “The Aprendiz do Futuro Program embodies IFMT’s role in the comprehensive education of students, bridging education and the world of work. This partnership strengthens professional learning, creates real opportunities, and contributes to the social and economic development of the region,” he noted.
