Corn harvesting operations are now underway across Bom Futuro’s main production regions in Mato Grosso. The 2026 crop was cultivated on more than 82,000 hectares distributed across Araguaia, Campo Verde, Matupá, Nova Mutum, and Sapezal, highlighting the crop’s strategic role within the company’s production system.

The regions of Matupá and Araguaia account for the largest share of the area planted with corn this season. Beyond the scale of their operations, both regions stand out for their strategic importance to the company’s grain production, combining high-yield potential with a robust operational structure to support harvesting activities.

In Nova Mutum, Campo Verde, and Sapezal, corn also plays a significant role in agricultural planning, contributing to the diversification of farming activities and the efficient use of land following the soybean season. The distribution of crops across different regions enables the company to expand its production capacity while reducing risks associated with weather conditions and operational challenges.

Grown as a second crop after soybeans and sharing space with cotton production, corn occupies a strategic position within Bom Futuro’s farming system. In addition to strengthening grain output, the crop provides raw material for the animal protein supply chain through feed production.

The crop’s development was closely monitored by technical teams throughout the entire production cycle, from planting planning to field monitoring. The selection of cultivated areas considered factors such as agronomic potential, production history, and soil conditions, aiming to maximize operational efficiency and crop performance.

With operations across several regions of Mato Grosso, Bom Futuro continues to invest in technology, crop management, and operational planning to sustain productivity and ensure greater efficiency during the harvest season.
