Buyers from different countries had the opportunity to see cotton production in Mato Grosso firsthand during Cotton Brazil Dialogues 2026. The visit brought together representatives from markets across Asia, Europe and the Americas, strengthening ties between one of Brazil’s largest cotton producers and key international buyers.
Held in partnership with the Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (Abrapa) and the Mato Grosso Cotton Growers Association (Ampa), the mission gave participants a closer look at Mato Grosso’s cotton industry and opened the way for dialogue on production, quality and the demands of the global market.
According to Diego Borges, Commercial Manager at Bom Futuro, who served as the company’s liaison with the mission participants, this closer engagement allows buyers to gain a better understanding of the origin and characteristics of Brazilian cotton.
“Welcoming these buyers is an opportunity to bring Bom Futuro even closer to international markets and showcase firsthand the quality and scale of our production. This direct contact strengthens relationships, builds trust and helps increase the recognition of Brazilian cotton worldwide,” Borges said.
Participants from countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas took part in different stages of the program in Cuiabá, including meetings and activities focused on exchanging information about Brazilian cotton and its value chain.
The initiative helps strengthen dialogue between producers and buyers, expand knowledge of Brazilian cotton and reinforce Brazil’s position among the world’s leading suppliers to the global cotton market.
