The company maintains a routine of activities and care for its approximately eight thousand employees, intensifying efforts during September Yellow.
Professional life takes up a significant portion of one's entire life. It is important to have a career plan, whatever it may be, but attention to mental health is equally essential. With around eight thousand employees across the state, Bom Futuro is committed to creating a healthy corporate environment.
“Bom Futuro supports initiatives for physical and mental health within the company, such as running groups, soccer teams, and workplace exercise. Additionally, it offers various benefits, including access to mental health professionals and therapies,” explains Tiago Goecks, Human Resources Manager at the company.
During the September Yellow campaign, the initiative “Let's Talk About Living Well” focuses on well-being and offers prevention tips for mental health issues, targeting the internal audience of Bom Futuro. Furthermore, the company encourages its units to organize specific events to discuss mental health.
At the company's transport division, which has approximately 660 employees in total, Thursday (September 14) featured a lecture for 200 of these employees about the use and abuse of substances that may affect physical and mental health, in partnership with Laboratório Inac.
“When we leave home to hit the road, we always have expectations about how the trip will go. At the company, we only travel in convoy, which is a plus because we can communicate via radio and don’t feel alone. A lecture like this is important for us to gain more knowledge,” said Aldair da Cruz Valentim, a driver in the transport division for over six years.
Elessandra Maria Marçal, the Human Resources Coordinator for the transport division, explained that the topic is relevant for employees in the sector to understand psychoactive substances and the differences between use, abuse, and dependence. “We noticed employees reflecting on what was discussed, about the importance of asking for help. It’s a moment for reflection, sharing experiences, and clearing up doubts.”
