18/10/2023

Bom Futuro hosted leaders from the National Department (DN) of the National Service for Industrial Learning (Senai) and the Social Service of Industry (Sesi) at its units in Campo Verde on October 9 and 10.

The DN delegation included Rafael Lucchesi, General Director of Senai, Superintendent Director of Sesi, and President of the Administrative Council of BNDES; Gustavo Leal, Director of Operations at Senai; Paulo Mól, Director of Operations at Sesi; and Felipe Morgado, Superintendent of Professional Education at Senai.

The executives explored the cotton and seed processing industries, as well as the biofactory, located at Fazenda Fartura.

Bom Futuro also stands out in the industrialization of agribusiness processes. The company operates nine Cotton Processing Industries (IBA) with a production capacity of around 1,469,650 tons. The daily processing capacity is 7,000 tons of cottonseed, resulting in 13,000 bales per day.

Additionally, there are four Seed Processing Industries (IBS) and an accredited laboratory. Each harvest produces 1.11 million bags of soybean seeds and 65,000 bags of cotton seeds.

At the biofactory, where bioproducts are developed, there are six products registered at the commercial level with the Ministry of Agriculture. In the 2022/23 harvest, around 870,000 liters of bio-insecticides were produced, distributed over more than 1.1 million hectares.

“It was a fantastic mission because we saw a modern, highly technological agribusiness with many possibilities for vertical integration and value addition. We witnessed Brazil's diversity and the enormous potential for economic and social development that the region holds,” stated Rafael Lucchesi.
