Efficiency in Tire Management for Transport Fleets

28/03/2025

Training reinforces best practices in tire maintenance and resource optimization.

Improving processes and reducing waste are part of who we are. That’s why our tire technicians, supervisors, and coordinators from transport units in the Sapezal and Colorado regions participated in a technical training session in partnership with Sena Pneus and Bridgestone. The goal was to strengthen best practices in tire maintenance, with a focus on retreading—a process that extends tire casing life, enhances performance, and reduces costs.

Tires are the second-largest expense in a transport fleet, and retreading is an efficient solution to delay disposal and ensure cost savings. In addition to costing, on average, only about 40% of a new tire’s price, it increases or maintains the same mileage performance, directly contributing to sustainability and operational safety.

With updated knowledge and techniques, our team remains committed to enhancing tire shop performance, optimizing resources, and reducing expenses. This initiative reinforces the importance of paying attention to every detail of our operation and continuously striving for greater efficiency and sustainability.
