Twelve young apprentices from Bom Futuro have started working in administrative activities at the Mato Grosso State Legislative Assembly (ALMT) through a partnership with the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). The initiative is part of the Aprendiz do Futuro Program and offers participants their first professional experience, combining theoretical training with practical learning within the State Parliament.
In total, 18 young apprentices began working at the Legislative Assembly, with 12 linked to Bom Futuro. The participants were assigned to different administrative departments, where they will have the opportunity to develop professional skills, understand institutional routines, and broaden their career perspectives.
The initiative follows the Legislative Assembly’s participation in the Young Apprentice Program, regulated by Law No. 10,097/2000, which promotes professional training for adolescents and young people starting at age 16. The partnership also contributes to fulfilling apprenticeship quotas and expands opportunities for workforce entry in Mato Grosso.
According to Mato Grosso Regional Superintendent of Labor, Gerson Antônio Delgado, cooperation between companies and public institutions is essential to increase the number of young apprentices in the state, which still has the potential for more than 25,000 vacancies.
Through the initiative, participants gain exposure to an institutional environment, build professional experience, and develop skills that may contribute to their future careers. The action reinforces Bom Futuro’s commitment to social development and youth training through partnerships that expand opportunities and encourage professional qualification.
