The Legal Department of Bom Futuro took part in the 2nd Mato Grosso Congress on Land Issues on Tuesday (October 17) in Cuiabá. The company's lawyers Edson Spagnollo, Thiago Siqueira, Ana Paula Araldi, and Junior Almeida attended the event, which gathered over 150 participants for learning and updates on the topic.
“It was an important and unique debate on a subject that concerns rural producers in Mato Grosso. The lectures clarified many doubts from lawyers and producers regarding the pathways for regularizing a property,” said Spagnollo.
Throughout the day, six panels were held, discussing topics such as the perspectives on land regularization; the consequences of irregularities; the functioning of the regional commission for land solutions of the judiciary; real rights, surface rights, and credit concession with guarantees; as well as extrajudicial compulsory adjudication.
For Edson Spagnollo, who was also a speaker, the event was relevant for everyone. “The large audience present showed that lawyers, technicians, and the bodies responsible for issuing property titles share common concerns and have much work ahead.”
The importance of the congress's theme was emphasized by Houseman Aguliari, president of the OAB-MT's Commission on Land Issues. “This demonstrates that Mato Grosso is committed to facing the challenges related to land, and OAB-MT is dedicated, along with the legal profession and society as a whole, to addressing the complex global issues that affect our state.
