The company and its employees were recognized with a Motion of Applause and the title “Friend of Older Adults of Mato Grosso” for being among the first donors to the State Fund for Older Adults.
Bom Futuro and its employees received, in September this year, a state-level honor from the Mato Grosso State Council for the Defense of Older Adults’ Rights (CEDEDIPIMT) in recognition of their pioneering role and social commitment as the first donors to the State Fund for Older Adults. The initiative resulted in the granting of a Motion of Applause and the title “Friend of Older Adults of Mato Grosso,” acknowledging the company’s collective engagement in support of institutions that serve older adults across the state.
The recognition is a direct result of the IR Solidário campaign, held internally at Bom Futuro every year, along with the company’s direct donations to the council. In 2025, the campaign will focus on supporting nursing homes in municipalities where the group operates, including Querência, Canarana, Campo Verde, Matupá, São José do Rio Claro, Tapurah, Sapezal, Campos de Júlio, Alta Floresta, Peixoto de Azevedo, Várzea Grande and Cuiabá.
According to Tiago Goecks, Bom Futuro’s Human Resources manager, the strong internal engagement reflects an organizational culture centered on collective well-being. “Seeing so many people involved and aware of the importance of allocating income tax to those who need it most shows that we are on the right path. This achievement belongs to the entire team,” he said.
Roselina Camarão, coordinator of the company’s Social Responsibility department, highlighted that the recognition reinforces Bom Futuro’s commitment to initiatives that truly change lives. “This title symbolizes the combined effort of everyone involved. At Bom Futuro, we are a people-centered company, working every day with the responsibility of caring for others,” she stated.
The campaign that led to the Motion of Applause and the honorary title was carried out in partnership with Bom Futuro, the State Council for the Defense of Older Adults’ Rights, and the Mato Grosso State Secretariat for Social Assistance and Citizenship (Setasc). Through the initiative, employees are guided to allocate part of their owed income tax or tax refund to long-term care institutions. The amount, which would otherwise be paid to the Federal Revenue Service, is redirected to strengthen support for older adults in vulnerable situations, without generating additional costs for donors.
With this state recognition, Bom Futuro reinforces its commitment to social responsibility and to the development of initiatives that directly impact the communities where it operates.
