We marked our presence once again at the traditional Corrida de Reis, which celebrated its 40th edition this year.
With the theme "Run to pause the mind and strengthen the body," we reinforced the importance of balance between mental and physical health, promoting well-being in a holistic manner.
Our activations with the collaborators, from assembling the athlete's kit to organizing the team tent, were carefully planned to highlight how physical activity can relieve the mind and strengthen the body, consolidating Bom Futuro's purpose of caring for its employees.
A special mention goes to the 10 employees who shone in the race, overcoming their own limits and being recognized and rewarded for their exceptional times.
Best male times:
Rafael Werle - 1st
Edimar Araújo - 2nd
Lucas Barreto - 3rd
Jean Marques - 4th
Marcos Viegas - 5th
Best female times:
Mayara Vieira - 1st
Stefani Reis - 2nd
Stephanie Moraes - 3rd
Lindalva Paixão - 4th
Aline da Silva - 5th
Mayara Vieira, the athlete with the best female time from the Bom Futuro Running Team and an employee in the vehicle control and maintenance department, shared her experience:"Running is not just about relieving the body; it's about opening the mind, easing the burden, and de-stressing. It’s about feeling renewed, energized, reconnecting with oneself, and surpassing limits. For me, running is an act of self-care and a way to connect with myself."
With this event, we reinforce our commitment to uniting body and mind, showing that taking care of physical health is also a way to care for emotional health and achieve a more balanced life.
